At Rae of Motion, our journey began with a simple yet profound moment of seeing our daughter, Leona Rae, light up with joy as she spun on a board specially crafted for her needs. Her smile and laughter sparked an idea—to create something that could bring the same happiness to other children facing similar challenges. From that moment on, Rae of Motion was born out of love and a deep desire to make a difference.
We specialize in designing and crafting spinning boards tailored for children with special needs, such as those with cerebral palsy and autism. Each board is meticulously created to provide not just a means of mobility but also a source of therapeutic play and sensory exploration. Our mission goes beyond selling products; it's about enhancing the lives of children and families by promoting movement, independence, and joy.

I got this spin board to support regulation in my Autism Classroom. It is the most commonly used tool in my room to support attention and regulation. Kids will use it as a break, a place to work or a reward. In my classroom we love our spin board and it provides all of my students the sensory input they need!
Our spin board is one of the greatest tools for sensory stimulation that we've ever had. My son Tyler has been diagnosed with the following conditions, generalized spasticity, cerebral palsy, pervasive developmental disorder and mild mental retardation. This board satisfies my son's need for movement while at the same time helps strengthens his core muscles. It is easy to use and very safe. After a 15 minute session on the spin board he shows much improvement in his balance and in his emotional state of mind. He uses this board several times a day and loves it. It is one of the best investments I've ever made for my son's overall welfare.
